The story began with a young lady who stumbled upon a helpless puppy stranded on a wooden bridge, abandoned by its owner. The adorable little pup went by the name Aqui and fortunately for him, Isabella came to his rescue. She kindly took him home and made sure that he received all the necessary care and attention he needed.
However, the mistreatment of Aqui did not come to a halt. Isabella was notified by the individual who first shared Aqui’s story that his previous owner had poured boiling water on him, resulting in a scar on his back. Despite the excruciating pain, Aqui’s physical condition remained stable, and he was promptly vaccinated and prepared to be with other abandoned puppies at a shelter.
Under Isabella’s attentive care, Aqui thrived and quickly became a beloved resident of the sanctuary. His playful nature earned him a reputation for being mischievous and always up for pulling pranks on his fellow pups. As he grew, he also received frequent health checkups from the vet and plenty of affection.
After a long wait, Aqui finally found his forever home on January 14th, 2023. A loving family adopted him and vowed to give him all the love and care he deserved. In the meantime, the authorities were alerted when two more adult dogs were found in the abusive owner’s residence. The owner faced charges of animal cruelty and pledged never to own another animal in the future.
Aqui’s tale is a poignant reminder that countless animals are left behind and forgotten, in need of our help.
